Eight days of guiding isn’t the best thing when you are training for a run. After rowing a boat for 9 hours or so the last thing you want to do when you get home is run. But I have enough days off this summer that I think I will have the time. My goal is to run from Teton Canyon Idaho over Hurricane Pass to Jenny Lake in Wyoming, up and over the Tetons. You can read more about my run here one of my previous posts.
On top of the fact that I have been busy guiding and rowing (aka shoveling water all day) I had a nasty spill on my mountain bike 2 weeks ago and still have not recovered. My tailbone and lower back are still really sore and even a short run today up Teton Canyon was pretty painful. It was my first run in 3 weeks or so and I can’t say I felt great, but it was nice to be out on the trails and for once this year they were mostly dry!

Jig. I thought running hurt your knees… Your right knee, your left knee… and your wee………
Take care of yourself up there.
